Recently found some gems for your viewing pleasure.

“ Ripley“ : Starring the always captivating Andrew Scott and Dakota Fanning. Well worth the time viewing and takes you to Italy, a historical era, music and story that will make you want to view it all at once.

It’s shot in black and white and draws you into the presence of where each beautiful and captivating scene is shot, exactly as the Director envisioned and wanted to present. For those of us who like to try to view and get drawn into what is presented, in a quality production that is, do agree with the director and enjoyed how the series was presented.

This series is part of other spin offs for the Thomas Ripley Book written in the 1950’s by Patricia Highsmith, which also starred a young and handsome Matt Damon, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow in the “Talented Mr. Ripley” in 1999. In other variations based on the same book actors John Malcovich, Dennis Hopper and Barry Pepper graced the screen in other productions.
